Tuberculosis Prevention Partnership

The Tuberculosis Prevention Partnership for Santa Clara County (TPP) was established in March 1999 to help prevent Tuberculosis (TB) infection and disease in Santa Clara County (SCC) by building effective community partnerships.
The Co-Chairs of TPP and representatives of its three lead agencies are Margo Leathers-Sidener, Executive Director of Breathe California, Michelle Lew, President and Chief Operating Officer of Asian Americans for Community Involvement. TPP members are comprised of a cross section of community-based organizations, agencies and individuals concerned about TB in their local communities.
Under the leadership of the Co-Chairs, TPP members joined together in a one-year planning process that identified strategic issues impacting TB at the local level and developed strategies to prevent TB in SCC. In March 2000, TPP released "A strategic plan to prevent tuberculosis in Santa Clara County."
